Equal distribution in Global Advisory Council

Equal distribution in Global Advisory Council

Each region would have the same number of representatives in the Global Advisory Council regardless of size. This means 2 people from each region.

Points

Each region wil have it's own regional directors and the only thing that is important is that the voices - as the output of their meetings - is vocalized by the global regional directors who are member of the council.

Since InterPride is a democratic based organization, it is important to balance power. Having the same number of representatives does not guarantee this.

It wil create a total equal level playing field for all regions in the council, no matter the number of prides that are member of your region.

With this model, there is no incentive to grow the membership, since it will not impact the influence you have.

It is expected that the more prides there are in a region, the more members there will be and the more regional directors will be active. From the representatives in the council it is expected that they stay in close communication with their regional directors and prides. If there are to many of those, it will be impossible to do that if the number of people assigned to the task is limited.
