An investment fund so that people who are from the area, and have done well, can give back. People who've grown up in Llanelli have huge pride in their roots. We want to approach them to invest in Llanelli's future - linking them with start-up companies in the local community that have potential to grow. (This is an idea that was submitted at the ‘Economic Strategy’ workshop, and has been added to the website by a member of Lee Waters’ team).
I love the fact that this works on the pay it forward idea. Help the town regain some of its pride!
